Licensed Clinical Social Worker Having a bilingual, Latina therapist was something I never thought to be important, but as I have continued seeing Liliana, I have come to deeply value this as I am able to share experiences of being bicultural, that I feel like is understood by my therapist. Through talk therapy, active listening, thoughtful homework assignments, EMDR, and somatic practices, I have developed and evolved. Although hard at times, Liliana challenges me in gentle ways to open up and dig deeper, all while holding space for me to feel any and all emotions that come up.
