Lisa had a pretty normal childhood. When she was three, her younger brother Garrett was born disabled and that meant that Lisa's parents devoted much of their attention to his care. As she became a teenager, Lisa realized she was a metahuman and was enrolled at St. Joel's, where she was an outcast until she befriended new kid Scott Pilgrim. Though she and Scott were a couple for a short time, their relationship never really went anywhere and Scott ended up dating their other friend, Kim Lisa turned to acting after Scott left. She was really good at it and was cast in a Canadian Teen Drama: "Witchwood high".

The character's name was inspired by the song "Scott Pilgrim" from Plumtree 's album Predicts the Future. He believes that smoking is evil, drinks "only on occasions", and doesn't hit girls.
