Turbocharged horsepower, why do you want it? Four-stroke technology is not new technology, but is evolving technology within two of the four snowmobile manufacturers. Yamaha leads this with every model within its line using a four-stroke motor. The other leading manufacturer is Arctic Cat , whose ProClimb and ProCross chassis employ two motors; an electronic fuel injected two cylinder two-stroke that is cc big. We love an insanely fast fighter jet. We all crave power for vertical climbs into the stratosphere. Yet, Arctic Cat has helped us earthlings be a pilot for a day and more. But, what about this turbocharged Suzuki four-stroke twin in the ProClimb chassis? Let me answer this with an analogy. Cat, looking to save money by building a common chassis — as the other OEMs have done for several years now — was able to, with turbocharging, cram four quarts into two quarts. Coming up with a common chassis that houses a large turbocharged four-stroke with all its wiring and plumbing is beyond mechanical engineering Since its inception, Arctic Cat, with its big twin four-stroke turbo, has dominated grass and asphalt drags with its Sno Pro ; fastest production sled in stock form in the World, as Cat and others declare, with the evidence to support this.

Replies 4 Views I'd love to go buy this sled, just don't want to end up spending most of my time wrenching on it and not out playing or worse ending up with a sled that eats belts that I can't fix and just mothball. I am going to answer the original post directly since nobody here is a 4 stroke fan. Otherwise, find a way to hard mount the clutches relative to each other so misalignment cannot occur.
