I have been to this salon twice and have had a great experience. The atmosphere makes you feel pampered and all of the staff is welcoming. Dominique is a wonderful stylist. She truly cares and listens to what you are wanting done. She takes into consideration what you envision and works hard and calm to help you get there. She is totally in her happy place and element with her work and has done my hair beautifully. I totally recommend seeing Dominique if you are in need of a great stylist!

I'm new to your blog. Lanha and I both prefer metal pans to the newer silicon molds. Have to admit, they are pretty awesome! However, a madeleine is only a madeleine when baked in that shape. Louis' wife, Marie introduced them to the court and they soon became all the rage at Versailles. My metal pan brings a beautiful golden hue to the cookies, and to be honest I don't like the looks of the silicon molds - all those zany colors. I appreciate you taking the time to share these. Table salt is fine for this recipe. I'm thinking that Heidi has a gas stove and it takes a little longer on a gas stove. The texture of the madelines is cake-like.
