The Beast really likes the band-aid Maggie has on her knee and will not rest until he can have one too. Maggie and the Beast lure him out again by making paper hats. Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast are having great fun in the snow, making snow sculptures and snow angels, and throwing snowballs. Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast are having a bad day. Maggie's drawing is ruined, the Beast is having difficulty with his origami, and Hamilton accidentally squashes a whole batch of muffins. They decide to send their troubles off to sea in little paper boats. After the boats are made, however, they realize they don't really have any troubles at all! Very hot! Fortunately Hamilton has an inflatable wading pool they can play in, but the Beast is too big to fit into it. The Moo Sisters think Hamilton has a beautiful voice and egg him on to sing a song. Hamilton wakes up with a bad cold and has to stay in bed. His friends' efforts to nurse him back to health are just bothering him and keeping him awake. In the end Maggie and the Beast compose a special Get Well poem for their sick friend, then tiptoe away to let him sleep.

Somewhat unusually for cartoons of this type, both Michael and Betty Paraskevas were heavily involved in the show's creation and production, as well as all subsequent book releases. The show is about Maggie, a plucky and adventurous six-year-old girl who explores the strange and wonderful world of Nowhere Land. Her very best friend in all of Nowhere Land is the Ferocious Beast, an enormous but ultimately gentle polka-dotted creature who loves having fun. They're accompanied in their travels by Hamilton, a slightly neurotic but intelligent anthropomorphic pig who carries a cardboard box containing many strange and useful objects. Together, they have whimsical and wonderful adventures in the whimsical and wonderful Nowhere Land. Their adventures make for a laid-back Slice of Life Fantastic Comedy show for young children and adults who enjoy silly kids cartoons.

Maggie and the Ferocious Beast is a Canadian animated children's television series created by Michael and Betty Paraskevas. The series originally aired on Teletoon in Canada. Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast meet a rabbit named Nedley and help him pull out his gigantic carrot. Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast have a lemonade stand, but no customers walk by. Meanwhile, the Beast fakes an injury so he can get a bandage like Maggie's. On a hot day, Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast are too tired to go to the beach, so Hamilton gets out a wading pool, but the Beast is too big to fit in it. Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast go to the Land of Umbrella Trees and one of the Beast's galoshes ends up stuck in a big puddle.
