A takeaway has been told to improve after being handed a new one out of five food hygiene rating. These new ratings mean that of Brighton and Hove's restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 77 per cent have ratings of five and none have zero ratings. Placed a big order with various dishes to try and all were very good. Not too salty or greasy, good flavours and spice. The salt and chilli squid was the only dish that wasn't to our taste. Very chewy and soggy batter but the rest Seemed excellent value for money for the amount of food we ordered too. Really lovely food and a lovely gentleman I ordered from on the phone. Such a shame that such a nice restaurant should be let down by a very rude and ignorant delivery driver, who couldn't work out a simple door bell and blamed me for I had this restaurant on recommendation from my best friend, who although also highly comments the restaurant also said they found the delivery driver based on a similar description to be both rude and extremely sexist. No complaints at all with the food and restaurant, although I have fed back to them that I would not order again from them purely because of this man and what a great shame that one employee could let down a very nice venue. We've had two meals from here now.
