From its colorfully dark-yet-playful setting to its wide cast of uniquely memorable characters, there's a lot about Soul Eater that seems to resonate with fans to this day. The characters' struggles, insecurities and flaws are all wonderfully written, and this rings especially true in the case of the series' titular heroine, Maka Albarn.
