And yes, all maps were fully explored as I tried this on three different worlds. This is not my video but it seems to cover things well.

An achievement , known as a trophy on PlayStation 4, is a way to gradually guide new players into Minecraft and give them challenges to complete. In Java Edition , a system of advancements accomplishes this instead. There are achievements in Bedrock Edition. Every achievement is tracked per user account. They are not tracked separately per world; achievements earned in one world apply to all worlds using that edition and that user account. On most platforms that Bedrock Edition runs on, achievements are logged to a Microsoft account, and so players have to be logged in to their Microsoft account to earn them. On PlayStation 4, Bedrock achievements are logged as trophies to the player's console account, and if logged into a PlayStation Network account and online, they are synced with PlayStation Network but not the Xbox network even if logged into a Microsoft account. They are independent of one another, allowing players to get them in any order. Once earned, they cannot be reset. Every achievement is earned only in Survival mode.

Posted by KludgyCartoon79 on 11 Jun 21 at To change the scale you have to surround a used map with 8 pieces of paper. Now you have another map to clear out. You need 9 maps. Took me only a few minutes to do this solo. You will need to get 9 empty maps at least, which can be crafted from 9 paper per map, which in turn can be crafted from 3 sugar cane per 3 maps. However, this achievement does not require maps; it just requires any map. Hope this helps. Good luck! If not you can create them with 9 pieces of paper in a regular crafting table or 8 pieces of paper surrounding a compass. Then take out your unused empty map and use it. Adding one piece of paper to each one also clears each map so you have to walk the area again and place them back on the frames.
