It all began for the iconic Marathon Souvlaki in with a small restaurant on Notre Dame Street in Chomedey, Laval, containing five tables and focusing mainly on takeout and delivery. The original locale expanded three times, ultimately growing to a comfortable seats. This prompted the opening in of a storefront a few blocks away, on Cure Labelle, reserved exclusively for the takeout and delivery crowd. As Marathon marks 45 years in business, there are two other thriving locations: one at the Galeries des Sources in Dollard des Ormeaux and another off Decarie Boulevard, near the former Blue Bonnets Raceway. The late Felipe Klitirinos was the founder.

Tomato, feta cheese, Greek olives, onion, cucumber, olive oil, oregano. Green salad, feta cheese, tomato, onion, Greek olives, cucumber and housedressing. Terrible customer service at this location. I ordered take out tonight and when they delivered my meal it was missing 2 items and the meat was under cooked. When I called to correct the situation, they placed me on hold for awhile and then they would not refund the missing items. They took no sense of responsibility. They told me to call my credit card company to complain if i did not like it and hung up! WOW terrible PR! Never going back or eating at a Marathon souvlaki ever again. Best souvlaki, especially great portions and delicious tzaziki sauce.

This is probably Marathon most chill location. Spacious and full of parking, this place is the ideal spot for a quick lunch or dinner amount friends. Nothing tops a Pork Gyro from Marathon. November First time trying out this restaurant, and my comment is "WOW. The customer service we received from Angelo was excellent. He was very friendly and gave great recommendations on what to eat. I hope he can serve us again next time. October Marathon is always perfect , they take good care of you, with respect, food on time , the important thing is , they bring the dishes ,all together ,not one waiting the others earthing, we always go in a group of 7or8 persons and we always have good feeling at the end.
