In this Mario sports game, Mario plays the sport of soccer. In this version of soccer, there are no referees or rules. The game is played in an arena surrounded by an electric fence, and players are allowed to use various items. Bowser makes an appearance every once in a while to stir things up. You can steal from other players, pass the ball, shoot, deke, and hit others. Players select a side, a team captain, and any additional sidekicks they want. You can access various gameplay modes, including a tutorial, a grudge match, a cup battle, and a custom tournament.
