Because Wolbach who wanted to reward Megumin wasn't able to grant her wishes of conquering the world, getting big breasts, or becoming the Devil King, Megumin instead asked Wolbach to teach her how to cast Explosion. Despite Wolbach listing the disadvantages of her learning that overpowered plus impractical spell, Megumin insisted on learning Explosion, the incantations for which Wolbach agreed to teach her over the span of several days. Megumin however kept inserting cool-sounding phrases into the incantations as well as make cool poses while chanting, and to Wolbach's surprise they actually made the Explosions more powerful.
