This place exceeded my expectations. Portions are HUGE! I ordered the Turkey Club Sandwich and I highly recommend that but you will not be able to finish it! The decor is great and our waitress was phenomenal. I went with a friend at lunchtime and I had the pulled BBQ pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. My friend had fish and fries. The service was great and our waiter was very attentive. The portions were a good size and everything was very tasty! A little pricey for some things but you get a ton of food My son and I were hungry and dropped in for breakfast.

I had such a fantastic evening at Mel's diner tonight, thanks to Debra's excellent service! The appetizers, fried pickles, and onion rings were spot on - just the perfect start to a relaxed meal. And, as always, the salmon was wonderful. Debra really made the experience enjoyable with her casual and attentive approach. Can't wait to come back! February Haven't been there for a while I moved to new Area. I found Mel's to have delicious and varied menu. Loved just looking around at all the vintage memories. A Great place to eat!
