I had the PP1s on my bike when I first got it and loved them, ran those down to the chords. Then the shop screwed up my order so I wound up with a PP1 on the rear again. Right, so I see all these sales, started looking at prices my rear tire locked when my chain snagged and roasted my rear to be unusable and I see this Power Pure at BB - never heard of it before. So I see the power pure is a dual compound setup, so I'm kind of confused as to why they're running the power pilot 2CT's and the power pure 2CT? I see the tread is different but I don't get what those center treads the power pures use does for anything..? The one problem I had with the Pilot Powers was the grooves going all the way to the edge but they fixed that with this tire, same thing with the Dunlops.

Both are great tyres!! I am going to replace these with another set of the same before the GM. Dunlop are for Buell Blast, also rated "poor.
