Misery added , besides weapons, minor contents and much features for the same game which Call of Pripyat is. Now I need more S. R content with Misery features, which seems the correct way to play this franchise now.

Notes: Arguably this class emulates the PC character capabilities of the original game more closely than the other two and is likely a good choice for newcomers to the mod.

The lack of a clear path of main missions where you can meanwhile do side missions like in the previous games just confuses you an makes you jump into situations you only realise you cant handle yet when you're halfway in the mission. May go back and play the other two as well. From what I've seen, though, if the goal was to make the Exclusion Zone even more daunting, more horrifying, and more unforgiving, well done!

How realistic does it feel when you pour a whole clip into a charging dog's face, and then it kills you in a single bite? IIRC I still hadn't figured out how to use a lot of the stuff you can get access to like those oils for repairing guns or something , but I definitely welcome the huge variety of immersive gear you can find, and the way everything has more consequence on gameplay, forcing you to spend more time at the bar weighing your options between sorties. Unfortunately, I can't entirely speak to the improved visuals as my screenshots no doubt attest because Misery is designed for PCs quite a bit heartier than mine, but even on my aging computer it looks quite nice, runs fairly smoothly, and I didn't experience a single crash with the latest version of the mod. Snorks are still snorks, but when they attack you during a midnight thunderstorm, and you can only see them when lightning illuminates the countryside, they're somehow worse than snorks.
