What I'm doing is replacing the factory door speakers and just using the factory Sony amp to power them. Can I disable the frequency roll-off in the factory sound processing while retaining the factory Sony amp? I DO want to do this to eliminate frequency roll-off and clipping at higher volumes. However, when I went to change this it was already to set to the "new" values 00xx. Also, for some reason the volume level indicator went away. Is that right? Even though the values for flattening the EQ are set up right, it still sounds to me like like clipping is being introduced at higher volumes. Am I missing something here, or is it not even possible without completely disabling everything?
