Moomintroll snufkin
Snufmin is the slash ship between Moomintroll and Snufkin from the Moomin fandom. Snufkin is the first actual friend Moomintroll meets, as Sniff is considered more of an adoptive little brother. Moomintroll is quick to admire his free spirit and Snufkin's nomad lifestyle. The two of them grow very attached to each other in a short time, with their relationship only deepening. When Snufkin decides to start his traveling lifestyle after living with the Moomin family for a while, Moomintroll is deeply saddened. He even spends his wish from the Hobgoblin to send their feast to Snufkin. And during Moominsummer Madness, Snufkin being late causes Moomintroll to be so sad, that he can't even bring himself to be happy for Snorkmaiden. Moomintroll is a dependent person who feels the need to feel close to the people he loves and needs continued support from those around him. Snufkin in turn holds Moomintroll dear, but this goes against his free nature and personal need to be alone. So Moomintroll needs Snufkin, but Snufkin doesn't want to need him or be needed in turn.

Snufkin original Swedish : Snusmumrik [ en ] or Mumrik [ en ] , Finnish : Nuuskamuikkunen is a character in the Moomin series of books written by Swedish-speaking Finn Tove Jansson , appearing in six of the nine books; his first appearance is in the second book, Comet in Moominland. Snufkin wears old green clothes and a wide-brimmed hat that he has had since birth. He lives in a tent, smokes a pipe and plays the harmonica. Snufkin also has a great dislike for authority figures such as the Park Keeper and the many regulation signs and fences he erects. At one point, he sabotages the Park Keeper by planting Hattifatteners in his garden, causing them to grow and drive him out. He has a great hatred for all symbols of private property , even losing his temper with the Hemulen after the latter attempts to put up a sign declaring "Moominvalley". The age of Snufkin is difficult to determine.
He is the son of the Mymble and the Joxter , and is half-brother to the Mymble's daughter and Little My. Snufkin is an adventurer and a vagabond, admired by those who are small and shy. Snufkin wears old green clothes and a wide-brimmed hat he's had since birth. He lives in a tent, smokes a pipe, and plays the harmonica, although he is shown to play the flute, the accordion and the guitar as well. Snufkin also has a great dislike for authority figures such as the Park Keeper , and the many regulation signs and fences he puts up, and as such is often thought of as an anarchist. At one point he sabotages The Park Keeper by planting Hattifatteners in his garden, causing them to grow and drive him out. Snufkin prefers freely-growing foliage to fenced-in lawns. He keeps as few worldly possessions as possible, seeing them as a burden, and being happier keeping the memory of a thing than the thing itself.

Snufkin is a philosophical vagabond who wanders the world fishing and playing the harmonica. It is so wonderfully splendid. Snufkin is present in many of the Moomin books, but he first appears in Comet in Moominland In the book, young Moomintroll and his friend Sniff set off to the Lonely Mountains as mysterious signs start to appear of a strange star with a tail. Their journey is packed with adventures which they share with new friends they meet on the way — including Snufkin. Snufkin meets every new person and event with curiosity and a warm heart. He enjoys spending time with the Moomins in Moominvalley, but in November he always goes south for the winter, only returning to Moominvalley in the spring.
