The skid plate did its job and had a serious battle scar from hitting a big rock but did make oil changes a messy affair. I went through 3 air filters, 2 or 3 sets of front brake pads, 2 front brake rotors, one front tire change, 3 rear tire changes and the one i sold it with was bald , front brake line, headlight bulb and A defect in the engine cases that can only be fixed by replacing the cases. The USB charger was great as a back up but I would buy a better quality one next time. I believe my front tire is not helping to keep it stable, it's a mixed terrain tire.
