I am the embodiment of a casual player. I play every expansion for a few months and then leave for a few years till the next one once the grind starts and its all super boring. Unfortunately mythics feel like busy work and once im done with my weekly quests and its the turn for Mythics, its getting progressively hard to force myself to do them. I play outlaw rogue and every few hits on trash mobs I have to dodge multiple mechanics every few seconds, watch that I dont wipe the whole team with my AOE, run from shades while dodging lighting or sleep, or explosions, while having to cast an interrupt at 5 trash mobs at the same time every few seconds. And its not that there are that many wipes and deaths in a run, its just annoying and too much work. It requires complete concentration for 30 mins. Try your hands at PuG healing. On top of it all, when poop hits the fan and it usually does in PuGs the tanks are usually the first ones to blame the healer in my experience. The mode will suffer a lot if people cant pug it but,at the same time, a lot of stuff inside these dungeons is designed in a way that it makes a huge difference if people are on discord or not. The vault simply has a lot of rough edges - one example is if you do 3 runs one week, 2 of them count for nothing towards it but I can think of a few more issues in the way it plays out. Going anywhere near the max weekly number and then going for alts is either gonna make players crazy or others looking at them will think they are. DF dungeon design makes me miserable and tired from tracking everything that goes on. It just makes me tired and after dungeons I am just relieved to log out. Balance between dungeons is still atrocious, so you basically log in on reset and hope that you or someone you play with either has SBG or CoS for the weekly key.
