Regeneration phase occurs when the dried and filtered compressed air in the collecting unit passes counter-current through the regeneration column until total pressure clearance. Humidity in the compressed air will be firstly condensed by a forced cooling radiator, then it goes through a floating condensation separator and finally it is absorbed by the filtering substance inside the columns. In a second step, condensation is expelled in the regeneration phase whilst the dehydrated and filtered compressed air is sent to the distribution line.
