Corralejo is situated in the North of Fuerteventura, in the municipality of La Oliva and it is the most popular resort on the island. Parque Natural de Corralejo was established as a park in and it covers an area of almost hectares, with more than 10 km of continuous beach. While driving towards the town of Corralejo from the airport, the road takes you through Corralejo National Park. At some points you will have the sand dunes on your left and on your right as well, with the ocean always on the right and a gorgeous view towards Isla de Los Lobos. The Corralejo sand dunes play an important role in preserving bird species like the Calonectris diomedea and Charadrius Alexandrinus. The sand is very fine and light-colored and sometimes it gives the impression of almost white sand. During the day, especially in the summertime, the sand gets very hot so it is advisable to get here before noon if you plan to walk across the sand dunes. There are entire kilometers of parking space along the road, so you can easily stop the car and explore the dunes or go to the beach. If it's your first time in Fuerteventura, we recommend you stop at various places along the way, to walk around the dunes, go to the various beaches and see the difference in landscape and view. On some portions of the Natural Park the road is very close to the beach and you only have to walk for a few steps from your car, while on other sections you have to cross the big dunes in order to reach the ocean.

There is no beach segregation for naturists, but it is common to see naturists on any beach outside of the main tourist beaches in towns. Going topless is common on all of the islands beaches and around the swimming pools of hotels and apartment complexes. These beaches front the sand dunes of the National Park, and the naturists use the beaches south of the Oliva Beach Hotel. You can park your car in the parking spaces next to the main road, the FV-1, and walk across the sand dunes to these beaches — about metres. The naturists are generally found at La Concha Beach and further north. You can park your car in a car park at La Concha, or further north, you can park alongside the road to the lighthouse.
