The player plays as a character who is trying to reach the Gold Cup in each daily level. Levels in Leap Day are released each day and are created by an algorithm. A sequel called Super Leap Day was released in In each level of Leap Day the player has to jump on the button of the Gold Cup at the end in order to complete the level. A new level is released each day, and it is not mandatory for a player to complete a level in order to play the next one. All past levels are available to the player and can be replayed at any time.
