No aio pump header on motherboard

I completed my build recently and the PC is running great, but from the fan utilities that came with my motherboard, I no aio pump header on motherboard certain that the way I connected the fans to the motherboard is not ideal. For example, I have a top exhaust fan that is being detected as a CPU fan obviously it's not.

Thee are two connectors in question - one for the three fans on the radiator and one for the water pump itself. What is this? If anyone has set up this motherboard with a water cooler, which fan headers would you recommend plugging things into? My gut tells me all the fan headers do the same thing. Thanks, Nelson. Therefore, the basic recommendation is to connect the pump to a fan header and then set the fan control to max in the bios. But still unclear for me. What are the options in the drop down menu under CPU fan control mode in your first screenshot, where it currently says "Auto"? Need Help Deciding! I place there my 2 fans exhaust fans with spliter and I see them on BIOS rpms and all , But pressing Q-fan control doesn't show anything

If your motherboard has a fan header designated for a "Pump" you should connect the CLC fan header to this specific location. Latest posts S. Log in. Search titles only.
