Even though this is local to me I've never thought of it as a place to go for an evening meal as it isn't the closest or in the town centre. You did not have a table booked and we were fully booked, we are full every Sunday and rarely accommodate people on the day, believe me when i say if I'm not usually a fan of carvery but this one was really good. Good nut roast along with a variety of vegetables which were cooked in a more imaginative way than normal and of course very good value when you can pile your plate up I felt they should offer smaller plates for carvery, not just large or children.
