I return to this restaurant for the food, and because it's a tradition with my family. However, the female owner is extremely rude, and I'm surprised they take such pride in their food when there is no pride in their service. There has been a time recently where I was there for 2. I always find it funny when they ask if you have a reservation when the restaurant usually has only a few patrons at a time I have been asked and the piece of paper they were looking at was empty - with no reservations. Again, the food is excellent- fresh, homemade, unique. The Old Town Serbian Restaurant has been a favorite of ours for many years, and although we haven't been there in a while, it did not disappoint. The service was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food I had Goulash, my wife Sarma was well prepared and quite tasty. One of my favorites has always been the Serbian salad and it was amazing! There was a short wait for the food and we enjoyed bread and spread to fill the time. The atmosphere was charming with musicians playing old favorites as well as Serbian classics. My daughter loves the Burek and we could not pass up the opportunity to order one 'to go' which she greatly appreciated.
I would highly recommend this establishment. Date of visit: October

We used to dine here years ago when we lived in Milwaukee. In town briefly and decided to revisit. Still wonderful old school atmosphere.
