One punch man season 2 disappointing
Many fans of One-Punch Man have been awaiting a third season of the show with varying degrees of anxiety. Some are excited about what new episodes could bring based on Yusuke Murata's manga adaptation, but there are also ample reasons not to welcome a continuation with open arms. Case in point is JC Staff's disastrous handling of Season 2's animation, which robbed the series of its former status as a paragon for quality animation. If they are the ones animating Season 3, it will be a travesty. In almost no other case has a change in studio caused a show's visual quality to drop so precipitously. At least part of the disappointment with Season 2 can be reasonably attributed to just how amazing Season 1 was. Madhouse animated the first 12 episodes immaculately, creating one of the most visually impressive anime ever. Saitama's fights with Carnage Kabuto and later Boros were filled with life, color and energy. It was clear that the animators prioritized creating a captivating visual experience, and they poured their blood, sweat, and tears into it. Every character, down to the background, feels as fluid and alive as they do in the manga, and the lighting is almost always perfect.
C Staff did not do the second season justice. It goes for this sort of intensity that helps liven up the otherwise stilted action scenes. In this fight, Imai was able to emphasize the trails of energy and sonic booms created by Saitama and Boros.
The animation in One Punch Man Season 2 is bad. The second season of One Punch Man has bad animation mostly because the director and animators that worked on the first season were not present in season 2. The first season of One Punch Man was adapted by Madhouse, whereas the second season was adapted by J. C Staff. Compared to the first season of One Punch Man , the animation in One Punch Man season 2 is very disappointing and just bad. It was later adapted into a manga by Yusuke Murata.
The second season of the One-Punch Man anime television series is based on the webcomic of the same name written by One and its subsequent manga remake illustrated by Yusuke Murata. The season is animated by J. Tomohiro Suzuki, Chikashi Kubota and Makoto Miyazaki reprised their roles as series composer, character designer and music composer, respectively. During the meeting, Garou insults both the heroes and villains, saying that he is on the side of monsters and declares everyone as his enemy. He beats up everyone except Sitch to send a message. Failing to convince him, she orders her underlings to attack him, but Saitama easily beats them. Fubuki attacks Saitama with her psychic abilities to no effect. He berates her for surrounding herself with weaker underlings to make herself look stronger, warning Fubuki that she could eventually face a villain stronger than her whole faction. Saitama proclaims that factions are useless, and warns the esper to never insult heroes again.

A grave mistake. Your email address will not be published. Season 1 of One-Punch Man is widely regarded as a masterpiece in animation. When you find yourself rewinding to understand how something happened the butt scene , rather than reveling in its artistic beauty — then you know the animators f—ked up! I believe I wouldn't have enjoyed it even if the original guys did the animation. Aug 27, AM. We do at least have a somewhat entertaining villain, that being Garou. The fight between Saitama and Suiryu looked off at times and had poor flash fades. Furthermore the awful effects, and confusing editing get in the way of what's left to enjoy. EDIT: Some epic action scenes in 11 and 12 simply come far too late. Scenes end before they reach their climax. Perfect mood for a scene where some incredibly socially awkward dude tries to kiss his crush with whom he has never spoken with, right? Much of which felt inconsequential, particularly the ending of the martial arts tournament.
In , after a three-year wait, fans of One-Punch Man were delighted by the announcement of a third season for their favorite superhero anime.
There's nothing too complex about this story, which is a good thing — linear plots are the ones with the least plot holes, so the whole ride is a pretty safe albeit predictable one. What the actual krukk? Besides breaking all the norms, One Punch Man excelled in creating fluid combat sequences with more impact than your run-of-the-mill Shounen. While OPM2 just implodes and burns, J. Giving the viewer an opportunity to empathize with his character, and understand his motivations. But, in general, the animation is alright, it's acceptable and definitely gets bonus points for some fine jiggle physics so I guess that makes JC Staff worth something. Unfunny humor is entirely due to the lame visuals, mediocre sound effects, and awkward directing. I think OPM brings this joke to a conclusion far too quickly, when it could've had much more use. Staff production where still artwork flows around the screen, cheap effects and camera tricks are trying to create the illusion of animation and movement; Even the most basic scenes are done with voice-over narration to ensure there is no need to even animate mouth movements; If there is a way to save money and time, it's chosen every single time; Character models are only few steps away from sanic-tier, purposely terribly drawn memes; The color pallet is not only bland, but inconsistent to a point that the episodes could have as well been made by completely different teams who never shared any data between each other. For example, Saitama also defeated Gouketsu in mere seconds. Perfect mood for a scene where some incredibly socially awkward dude tries to kiss his crush with whom he has never spoken with, right?
