It's available on Steam and itch. This puzzle appears in the Factory in the Refuge, and is a variant of the game Mastermind. You have 5 lights that you can toggle to either orange, blue, green or red. There's a correct pattern of 5 colors that you're supposed to guess. After you set each light, you can pull a lever, and it will tell you how many lights you got correct. You get 10 attempts before the puzzle resets itself.

I've lined up the sheet on the clover and only filled in those squares, but nothing is happening. We make every switch c1 and just vary where c2 is in the first 3 spots. Minimax solver.

Depending on the pattern, it can be quite easy or fairly tricky to guess the right pattern.

If you got less, the one you switched was already correct. If you only change 1 light at a time, you'll know when you've hit a correct one or made it incorrect. So we know the 4th light is Yellow. Assuming both c3 and c4 are in the first partition, the first partition will have 1 match with the above pattern. BTW, this is inspired by the super cool 3blue1brown video on information theory and Wordle. The second partition has one c1 , one c3 and one c4 , which means c2 can only be in the first partition.
