Ozzfest 1998

Ozzfest is an annual music festival tour of the United States and sometimes Europe and later Japan, ozzfest 1998, featuring performances by many heavy metal and hard rock musical groups.

Graves Of The 80s. Ozzfest kept moving forward in , expanding their tour with a stop in the United Kingdom and merging with the Vans Warped Tour for one date. These bands, as well as supporting acts like Sevendust , Soulfly , and Limp Bizkit , were staples of rock scene into the millennium. Ultraspank Unfortunately, this is a tale of a good band left floundering from mismanagement under their record label. Ultraspank toured extensively to promote their debut album but no support from the label came until their track "Five" was featured on a video game. They then went back into the studio with renewed encouragement from Epic. That backing faded quickly, however, and with little promotion to support the release of their second effort Progress , Ultraspank was dropped and broke up. Straight after Ozzfest, Kilgore did both a US and European tour…and then fell off the map completely. Since then, Kilgore has only made an appearance at a benefit show. Start from the beginning and move through their expansive discography ending with the double album A Walk With Love And Death they released earlier in July.

In some of its touring years, the festival has also featured dates in Europe. The show was founded by legendary hard rock musician Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne, his wife, in , and has since become one of the biggest heavy-metal and rock festivals in the world, drawing fans who enjoy the same type of music heard on the Warped Tour or the Gathering of the Juggalos. The Ozzfest tour features a wide variety of heavy metal and hard rock bands. The different styles of music highlighted during the tour include hardcore punk, black metal, industrial, thrash metal, alternative metal, and death metal. Metalheads everywhere are welcome here and OZZfest is no different. With an already established career, Ozzy was successful in bringing in the crowds to see him play along with numerous big-name and indie bands in Phoenix, Arizona for a two-day music festival and again in California in October. With a first-year hit, the OZZFest tour went into full mode planning for the next year. OZZFest enjoyed major commercial success in the early part of and over the next several years. Both the and tours were recorded and produced into albums which were also very successful, and parts of the OZZFest tour were also covered by MTV.
