I believe some went down the same path as you. It turned out to be a short in the harness which also caused the driver in the PCM to go bad. Repaired the harness, replaced the PCM, all is good. The Jeep was on and I was on my rock rails tugging on the straps and the jeep was rocking and and I heard a chime went down to the interior and the check engine light came on.
