This is billed as a bark collar, but it's really not With this collar, if you're not present and physically holding the remote in your hand to correct your dog when they bark, the collar does nothing on its own. So those looking for a collar like this strictly for MANUAL training purposes should be just fine - but don't expect automatic bark-detection with automatic correction. I am sad to say my dog autumn did not respond to this collar. No matter what, setting to put it on she acted as if nothing was going on. I tried different placement on her neck with the collar to see if that made a difference, but it did not. I have had the collar for two weeks and have tried it several different times under different circumstances each time she acts like she does not hear or feel the collar. Also, the second collar did not fit my dog, supposed to be large size, her measurements should have worked based on the measurements shown online but still didnt fit. I bought a two pack, did neither collar not worked out for my girls. However, I loved the design of the collar. It was easy to charge. Directions were easy and very user-friendly to assemble and put on your dog. Just disappointed it did not work for my girls. Was hoping this collar would be the answer to stop my girls from barking as I am home full-time recovering from shoulder surgery. I got this because I have a highly reactive German shepherd who loves screaming about every sound she hears at any time of day.
