A first game win on September 24 set the North Peace Navigators in motion for the start of the season. We had a good goaltender, Chris Key. It was a combination of the guys getting used to each other. Things are not polished at this point; there was a lot of instinct and reactionary play. With new players on the roster, Menssa said a goal at this point is for the team to work together as a cohesive unit. We do have a good core of veteran players from last year…and our team… before Covid hit. We usually start in September.
