Forgot your password? Or sign in with one of these services. I've been using PkHex for a while for my gen 3 games but I've decided I wanna transfer a few legal mons to a 3ds I'm getting soon. I've seen ways if transferring them via the pkhex qr codes and was wondering if they still work? Not for any game in particular as if it works on a specific game I'll get that one. I just want to put my pkhex pokemon into the real games.

I haven't really used pkhex since gen 6, so I'm not sure if the method changed for the current version or if it was removed altogether. I see where you can still generate QRs for pokemon, but I'm not sure how to place pokemon already generated by QR into boxes. I am trying to do this yet when I go to scan the code, it just sits there with the camera on as if it doesn't recognize the QR code. However, the GPSS codes are working when in the right spot and even when in the editor, though it says the code is in the incorrect format there.

PKHeX expects save files that are not encrypted with console-specific keys. Party and Battle Box may only be exported. PKHeX is able to create a 'pkmdb' folder and store pkm files from all generations for later use. You may additionally use the script command format used by the Batch Editor to do more advanced searching:. PKHeX only supports methods of transfer that the games support, emulating the official method of transferring for you.

For now, if it actually gives you Charizard in-game, then you should be able to just make any Charmander in PKHeX and breed it and it should technically be considered legal since you could theoretically have someone from Japan trade you one.
