To realize the research goal, quantitative methods were used. The survey was based on data from the years regarding the return rates on shares of ten listed companies included in the WIG index. Forecasts of return rates from individual companies were determined using the Shape models obtained on the basis of the actual rates of return from the WIG index from Five intervals of temporary return rates were adopted for the study: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual.
