Princeton gun show

There are two gunshows coming up that i have decided to attend. I have very limited experience at Illinois gun shows or actually, princeton gun show, any gun shows. There is one nexy weekend at Princeton and then the following weekend at peoria.

The performance is free! We do have a mild parental advisory for this show. The ways in which Americans perceive these small machines seems to intersect with numerous serious issues that confront our society — race, economic inequality, public safety, constitutional rights, etc. They represent an everyday tool to some, but a health menace to others. What is it about our collective psyche that fastens so tightly to guns? A Gun Show is an exploration of these issues through music, text, and movement. We originally set to work on it as a way to process our emotions after the unfathomable school shootings in Newton, CT.

I've been to this show several times,but I was surprised to see the line to get in was so long! Half an hour the after the doors opened, the line stretched across the two exhibit buildings, around the corner, and halfway down the length of the second exhibit building. I'm glad the line moved quickly! I waited in line about fifteen minutes, but it was awfully cold! Dressed in my IllinoisCarry hat and t-shirt, and armed with a fistful of IllinoisCarry raffle tickets, I shuffled my way through the crowd. I ran in to some old friends and made some new friends. A lot of people noticed my IllinoisCarry attire and asked me the status the the fight to bring Right-To-Carry to Illinois, and I was more than happy to bring them up to date, and invited them to visit our website. I was personally a little disappointed that I hadn't sold more tickets, but I can't blame people who politely declined to buy one, given the economy. I stopped at the gun counter and checked out his wares. After chatting for a bit, I told the owner I had been selling raffle tickets at the gun show today. But she did say, "tell Frank hello! For several years now, non-dealers making sales at gun shows must make a special FTIP call, and the buyer and seller are still forced to observe a gun-sales-punitive-period.
