Since Freddie Mercury 's tragic death and bassist John Deacon's retirement , it's obviously not been possible to see the classic Queen lineup in concert. Guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor have kept the flame burning with a series of tours, first with Free's Paul Rodgers and over the last decade or so with Adam Lambert fronting the group. The current Queen touring group features half of the original lineup, but obviously established stars like Rodgers and Lambert put their own spin on the all-important frontman role.
