It's time to head back to school and as such, my father and I are stopping at Carowinds on the way. Since this is our first time at a Cedar Fair park, I'm very excited, but need some help. What advice do you have for first-timers? We're going next Monday and have a full day to work with. Will the park be somewhat busy as kids get ready to go back to school?

Sagging attendance and mounting debt forced Carowinds Corporation to merge with Taft Broadcasting in early It was later transferred to a wholly-owned Taft subsidiary, Kings Entertainment Company. Taft Broadcasting brought new life to the park with its Hanna-Barbera characters and several rides aimed to appeal to younger guests.
