I wonder if you can Faction change, then Faction change back to Race change But yes. It's neat to see Blizz try to take 3 positions at the same time. But if they have them, make them once per account, restrictive, maybe with a cooldown. Wotlk is kinda fresh, so people who RLY wanted to play fotm race just bought the 50 euro boost package. Allthough i can see your point, i can assure you there are alot of people who are willing to buy the race change. Even if more people would buy the level boost, there are still those who would rather spend cash on a race change. Blizz could benefit from both groups. Would be good to get this service because a lot of realms are super unbalanced. I play on Thekal as an alliance but all my friends joined Golemagg as hordes. I find it a bit frustrating to be playing on such a low population realm with dead economy and cannot play with my friends on my main. The only solution is to level up another one. I have no idea why Blizzard is delaying race change from this game… I made mistake at start and made blood elf DK. Now i have constant debuff in raids because my race is bad in PVE.

Looks like it is grayed out for me after purchasing. Will wait for others to see if they are experiencing the same problem. Blizzard making money in every possible way. No profit is too small. This has always been a paid service since it became a thing back in the day. Before that the only option was to reroll. Otherwise yes welcome to capitalism in the gaming industry.

To complete the faction change, you will need to select your character's new race, appearance, and name. You can purchase a Faction Change on the Battle. You can access the in-game shop from any realm. If you are in a queue because your realm is full, remove yourself from the queue and select a different realm. Below is the list of restrictions for this service. Customer Support cannot bypass any of the below restrictions. Raid lockouts transfer with your character.
