Academy of Raya Lucaria is a legacy dungeon located in Liurnia of the Lakes.

Defeat magical enemies, find hidden items, discover illusory walls, defeat bosses — with a map of Raya Lucaria Academy. Your first goal is reaching the Raya Lucaria Gate site of grace. There are two ways to get there: warping from the Purified Ruins and walking there from the Academy Gate Town site of grace. The indirect path starts at the Lake-Facing Cliffs site of grace — the one you unlock when you enter Liurnia of the Lakes after Stormveil Castle. From the Academy Gate Town site of grace, head west while veering slightly north to reach heavily guarded steps that ascend toward walled academy grounds. Watch for foes with projectile magic.

Quite a different area as it has a variety of blue hues, compared to the green open spaces of Limgrave, covered in crystals not only in its environment but also the creatures that inhabit it. These range from snails to more vicious animals to the underwater crustaceans such as crabs and are heavily guarded by the academy's scholars. First thing you will need to know is that there is no secret entrance to infiltrating Raya Lucaria Academy , the only way in is through the main gate that is currently sealed with a barrier. The only way in is by finding the Academy Glintstone Key and using it to pass through the barrier. To find it, grab the map that has the coordinates of the key which can be looted off a body that can be found near the main gate that is sealed with a barrier. This will lead you to an island that is situated on the west side from the academy. On that island, you'll find that it is guarded by a field boss, the Glintstone Dragon Smarag. Fighting this dragon is optional since you can simply sneak behind it and loot the key from a Glintstone Sorcerer's corpse. Once you have it, return to the South Raya Lucaria Gate and you can pass through the barrier. The nearest site of grace is the Crystalline Woods site [ Map Coordinates ].

Check the northwest side after killing the enemies to find a corpse that is sitting against a wall, you can pillage the body to find x1 Shattering Crystal, raya lucaria. To the right along that slope, there is an opening where you can pillage a corpse for the Golden Rune[4]. To find it, grab the map that has the coordinates of the key which can be looted off a body that can be found near the main raya lucaria that is sealed with a barrier.

Head east and slightly north from the site to find the edge of some cliffs looking out toward a monstrous moving structure which rings a loud bell as it moves. There are some tablets protruding from the cliff. Descend along them to reach the lower area, then hug the cliffside as you travel left and keep to the edge of the area where the moving structure wanders. Along the way to that confrontation, you can also find the Crystal Knife and the Shatter Earth sorcery. Make sure to bring weapons that are imbued with magic, or that can inflict blood loss, or both. If you have it, the Meteoric Ore Blade is a fantastic choice. You can obtain it in the Caelid Waypoint Ruins. Their distracted state means you can often land critical hits from behind and get most of the difficult work out of the way in a hurry. If you have strong magic projectiles, you can also limit your risk. From the entrance to the area, ride an elevator to the lower area and head forward along the tunnel to spot wooden platforms leading to the right where a treasure chest holds the Somber Smithing Stone [2].

From here the path becomes harder to follow, but thankfully the map is incredibly close, barely north of this Site of Grace. Simply follow the broken pieces of wall and blue lanterns north and you will come across the map, but be careful of the small army of mage enemies waiting in the shadows around the path. With the map unlocked you can head north and battle your way through the Academy Gate Town and reach the dungeon entrance, but there is a quicker way.

Return to the door, but this time go left and walk along the higher ridge to reach a Grace Mimic on a body next to a large grave. Legacy Dungeons.
