Rebekah served as a recurring and guest character in the thirdfourth and rebekah mikaelson seasons of The Vampire Diaries.

The first family of vampires proved to be so popular that The Vampire Diaries co-creator Julie Plec moved the Mikaelsons to New Orleans where the city's rich cultural and supernatural history provided the perfect backdrop for the squabbling siblings. Rebekah tells him Katie's magic stopped before they could finish.
