View Full Version : Greasing door hinges. Hi Guys, What do people on here use to grease their door hinges? I'm assuming that I need to use white lithium grease but I can only find it in a spray can. Is this what I should be using or is there a paste that's better to use? Thanks guys. Awesome, thanks Mick. Any particular brand you prefer to use?

It seemed like they really wore out fast in the last few weeks I had them. Scott oiler on the Strom seems to work ok bit messy. The Scottoiler I had on the 'bird was a bit of a pain to adjust perfectly but then again, I'm an engineer, haha! Must have been a bit of thought transference going on there! That gives front tyres a hard time - causes carcass deflection when leaned over. There aren't that many straight roads in NZ, certainly not where I live and I don't commute on the Triple so that definitely helps. Messy, but simplicity is the friend of reliability and ease of use means the chain and sprockets are in an oil bath. I'd be looking at another set of handlebars too, those ones have a weird shape.
