The Research Chest itself is located on the bottom floor of the Zskera Vault. After digging for a few seconds, players will get to pick up the Research Chest Key and some Elemental Overflow.

There are four tiers of rooms to unlock, with five rooms on the first floor, and eight on each floor above. So far my fourth floor has been identical each week, and certain rooms have been in the same positions on floors two and three, but the other rooms have all been random. Each door requires a key — or another way to get through it, such as a properly-positioned ballista or cannon —requiring a total of 29 keys to get into them all. Any treasure chest not called a cache will most likely contain Dormant Primordial Fragments and some random greys.
