Been in for a lunch and two dinners recently. Her salad covered with cheese and coleslaw like a staff canteen would have served in the 70s, her chicken was rubber, she couldn't cut through it, my salmon dry but just about edible Great food - shame not big choice of beer - crafts or local. My room was up 2 flights of stairs, with threadbare carpets although clean. All the towels were arranged on the bed in the shape of bows - why not just fold them and place them in the bathroom and spend the time used making the bows to clean the room properly! We loved this place but I'm giving a mixed review on the food.. Me and my wife visited Bute in the middle of and during our 5 day stay on Bute we visited Brechin's no less than 5 times.
