Our services are inclusive for those inside and outside of the binaries, all ages, ethnicities, abilities, sexualities and allies across the board. Rest assured, all members of our team have completed specialist Inclusion and Intersectionality training, ensuring everyone of you lovely lot receives the salon experience you deserve. As a proud, queer, neuro-diverse humxn the incorporation of queer history and misspelled words encapsulates my vision and I am so thrilled to welcome you to my world! It was used throughout multiple centuries and industries by Queer people to identify and navigate life in a society which remained openly hostile and dangerous for them. At the Riah Project we will be offering cheap and affordable haircuts for queer people within the community who may not be able to afford it, alongside hosting a variety of queer entertainment such as queer spoken word performers, local artists and creative members of the queer community plus a selection of drinks and refreshments throughout the event. Bretni and Kimberly have worked together in the industry for almost 5 years. They grew very close as friends and also developed a strong professional relationship. When chatting one day, they both realized they shared the same passion for owning their own salon one day. When Bretni was trying to choose a name for this new and exciting business venture, her daughter Riah brought it to her attention that her name was hair spelled backwards!
