It seems as if it has bluetooth since it has an option but I'm not seeing any way to put it in pairing mode. I did find a post some where saying that the bluetooth module is under the passenger seat but when I look under there everything is so jammed pack that I can't see what anything is. Any help to point in the right direction would be fantastic cause currently the Aux is getting worse than poor sound quality. Below are photos of the unit. The issue: tried this with an iPhone 7 and a 6s running current ios with same results - car sees phone - when i try and connect "phone not compatible" error - phone does not see car I have disconnected and reconnected the module under the seat with no effect Any suggestions before i drop the car back and ask for my old R32! Sort by Oldest first Oldest first Newest first Most reactions. Interesting that your first post is after you sold your R32 Sounds like tbe BT module doesn't support the iPhone 7. It might be possible to. First thing to do is to have a look under the driver's seat and take the part number, including the letter at the end, of the BT module amd see what it is.

It's probably a good idea at this point to dry run fit the mounting piece from VW under the driver's seat - push it in, and mark where the mounting 'tongue' sits against the carpet left hand side as you are facing the back of the car. It told me to do 8 - it needs to be 4. I removed it from the wiring and replaced it with compliant cable - 2. Media New media New comments. IMO the Aux input is in a daft place as it means leaving the glovebox open for the cable. Feb 19, kave. Run the Mic cable from the fuse panel, behind the corner of the dash, up the A pillar, routing inside the metal if you wish, so that it reaches the top of the A pillar safely and behind all the airbag bits.
