Their goal in all gamemodes is to kill all innocents and survive without getting caught, while the Innocents must figure out who the Mafia is and execute them to survive. In order to win, they must kill all innocents and they must also act like a innocent so they don't get accused and killed. Since all players will have the same avatar and their usernames will be hidden unless scanned, finding out who is the Mafia is a hard task. The most common way to find out their identity is by witnessing the mafia kill another player, quickly scan them to reveal their username and expose their identity to the rest of the players so they can vote to execute them. Because of that, Mafias also have to be careful to not kill in front of another player. Their Right-Hand is the Spy , a powerless player who must help the mafia win by manipulating other players.

A server holds up to 20 players, with players having roles such as 'Mafia', 'Detective', 'Doctor', or 'Innocent'. The amount of people in each role depends on the size of each server. The game currently features two modes: Easy and Hard. These modes are voted on by the server. The server can also vote whether or not the round will be 'Disguised' or 'Normal'. The Mafia is the only role in the game which eliminates the other players. Mafias shag other players by voting who to shag, and then killing them either by gunshot, stab, or punch. Once all Mafias are eliminated, the innocent win. If all innocent players get eliminated, the Mafia wins. The Doctor is the only role in the game which can save people from elimination.
