The show focuses on a little robot and his family who are composed of several spheres and other three-dimensional geometric shapes. The series was broadcast from October 4, , to April 28, , and was followed with two straight-to-video films titled The Great Defender of Fun and The Baby Bot Chase , in and respectively. The show focuses on the Polie family, who live in a teapot-shaped house named Housey in a geometric world Planet Polie populated by robot -based characters. The stories revolve around a young robot named Olie learning life lessons and going on wacky adventures either real or imaginative while growing up. These often include his younger sister Zowie, his inventor father Percy, his hard-working mother Polina, his fun-loving grandfather Pappy, and his dog Spot.

Welcome to the Rolie Polie Olie Wiki! Zowie Polie is a sweet character from Rolie Polie Olie. She is Olie 's younger sister and a two-year-old girl, then later turned three in the movie The Great Defender of Fun. She is the kindest and most friendliest kid in the group, as a result of her being the most youngest. She has a very soft spot for everyone. Since she is quite young, her speaking skills have not fully developed yet, hence she speaks in broken sentences and frequently has grammatical errors in her speech.

Olie's physical appearance is of a simple robot with circular body structures. His connected torso and head are that of yellow spheres with his head being larger. He wears a piece of clothing that appears as light brown fabric shorts with two dark brown buttons. He has small beady eyes, thin eyebrows, and a tiny round brown nose. Each side of his head has a red semi-sphere that represents his ears. On top of his head is a long antenna of small grey segmented metal ending with a small blue sphere. His arms and legs are small grey segmented robotic limbs. His arms end with small yellow oval-shaped hands with 4 fingers, while his legs end with brown semi-circles like his shoes. He is the son and older child of Percy and Polina Polie, the latter only being partially revealed through only by initials in the episode Madame Bot-erfly when he and his 3-year-old sister Zowie find a tree with their initials on it.
