It was introduced in August and is set to be produced with four variations. The car's first sketches were drawn four years prior to release. The styling of the cars take cues from classic Rolls-Royce roadsters , yachts , and s hot rods from the West Coast of the United States , [6] [7] [8] with additional cues taken from the world of horology. The first variation introduced is La Rose Noire , named for the French Black Baccara rose , and the car includes black sycamore wood sourced from France. The second variant is Amethyst. The name and styling draw inspiration from amethyst , the birthstone of the owner's son.
