Very nice hotel. Clean although their whites should really be bleached. Nicely located within walking distance of downtown away from the bustle. Although the building is situated above the Rose Gardens the view is only available from the corner rooms. Good wifi, great shower, nice sized rooms. Soap and bathroom slippers are provided. Staff was extremely helpful especially with booking a last minute long distance taxi when other arrangements fell through. This is the third trip to Ooty and second time staying in Fairstay. Perfect for a family stay with spacious rooms. As we booked 2 rooms,they provided us two rooms and an additional hall with coat and bed. It was like a two bedroom house with 24 hour drinking water hot and cold with water purifier. Rooms were very clean with very good service anytime.
