Ruggable runner

Has anyone used a ruggable runner with another pad on the stairs. Have been looking for a match for my landing Rug which is the Delphi pattern from ruggable but have not found a color match for the stairs. I was thinking to buy the runner version of my rug. I know ruggble says not for stair use but I would be stapling it down. I know but what's their thinking Not secure on steps, going to staple, won't be able to remove, not planning to wash.

I'm sure you can sell it on FB Marketplace quite easily when you're ready. I will agree though that they don't give enough close-up pictures so it's really hard to see the whole pattern and colors. Rugs add cozy texture, patterns and color so I love them in kitchens, but they can get pretty dirty in a highly used space like this. Purchasing another pad , 3 runners and stapling.
