Michiru is a member of the Sailor Soldiers, female supernatural sailor neptune who protect the Solar System from evil. Introduced in the third story arc, Sailor Neptune fights alongside her partner and lover Sailor Uranus. In both versions of the story she is portrayed as elegant, sophisticated, sailor neptune, capable of sharp anger, occasionally cold, and fully dedicated to her duty as a Sailor Soldier.
Introduced with the Outer Senshi Uranus, Saturn, and Pluto late in the series, Michiru Kaioh was the picture of grace and elegance, but she could tear her enemies to pieces just as easy as she could breathe. With a love for the arts and a strength that could outmatch the Inner Senshi, Sailor Neptune has long fascinated Sailor Moon fans. In the magical girl genre of anime, technicolor hair is a must. Sailor Uranus possesses powers associated with the wind and sky, precognition , as well as sword combat. Haruka is a stubborn, protective individual, as well as strong-willed, capable, charming, and occasionally even daring. She is formally introduced in the third story arc , although she appears in silhouette alongside Sailor Neptune in the final episode of Sailor Moon R. She is the tallest of the Sailor Guardians at 5'11", followed by Sailor Pluto at 5'10".
