Seeking to recover his memories, a scissor-wielding hairdresser, scissor seven, bungling quasi-assassin stumbles into a struggle for power among three feuding factions.

To the casual eye, the amnesiac bounty hunter Wu Liuqi looks quite intimidating. With his deadly telekinetic scissor techniques and his ability to seamlessly transform into anything, one would not expect his modest demeanor. In fact, Wu is quite terrible at his job. Often times the freelancer can be found botching an assassination or targeting the wrong person. While his failures could be due to his subpar skills, it usually boils down to him being a normal kid, with a heart unsuited for his line of work. Accompanied by his feathered friend Dai Bo, Wu is on a simple quest to regain his memories.

He is a year-old barber who suffers from amnesia. He was found by Dai Bo and Xiao Fei on a beach in Chicken Island when he was 19, and has been living with them for 2 years, during which time he helps them run a barbershop business to pay back his medical debt. His daytime job as a hairstylist is used as a front, alongside his new boss and best friend Dai Bo and his adopted son Xiao Fei , Seven works as an assassin for hire to gain a lot of yuan to pay back the debt. Throughout the series, he tries to kill his targets but fails and ends up helping or saving his targets from their problems. It's later revealed his real name isn't Seven, but rather his code name, and that he was once the strongest assassin in all Xuanwu before his amnesia. His assassin rank is 17, at the start of the series, later 12, when he fights against He Dachun , and formerly 1 when he worked as a Shadow Killer. Seven has black shoulder-length hair that is mainly tied up in a chicken comb-like bun, noticeable eye bags with black thick eyebrows and he generally wears a laid-back and innocent expression, becoming serious only in rare situations. He wears a white hoodie with kangaroo pockets, black shorts and black shoes with white soles. When Seven was a ruthless assassin back in the Killer League, he wore a sleeveless hooded purple hanfu gown, as well as black inner robes. On his back is the symbol of the Shadow Assassins. On the sleeves of his robes are traditional arm guards, he also has a purple belt on his waist. His hair was untied and always messy, reaching his shoulders, and he retained the dark eye bags. His expression was cold and ruthless, never showing even the slightest bit of emotion. In the past, Seven strongly believed in the adage that an assassin shouldn't get involved in others' affairs and shouldn't show any emotion.
